Last week Evan decided he needed his own pole, so Wes took him to get a few basic supplies. He got up early today; I found him at Port Royal where he had gone fishin’.
Five years later we have grown to love Tennessee as much as our home state of Texas. Our adventures as a military family continue in the land made famous for country music and hot chicken. As much as our lives have changed with our twenty plus years in the military, much remains the same. We spend our weekends playing soccer, our winters on the beach, and our holidays with family.

Gone Fishin’
Two weeks ago Evan and some friends made plans to hang out. They were bored as everyone had been quarantined for more than six weeks. The weather was nice and everyone was itchin’ to get outside. So they decided to build a bonfire and go fishing. They hit a couple of creeks and a pond. They didn’t find much, but they did catch enough to hook Evan.
