Rebound Win

We rebounded tonight with a 6-0 win. All of our starters were on the bench the last half hour of the game.

Champions

I saw this and first thought, “Oh, my gosh! They hired a coach for an IM league?” Then realized that guy on the right, the big guy with facial hair, is the same age as my boy. I thought he was my age!

This is kinda how I feel when I go through the gates on post and realize the guy scanning ids is younger than Evan.

Oh, my stars! I’m old!

District Opener

Tonight’s district opening game against Springfield was bitterly cold.

We played a flat game that lacked any true excitement, and we had between 20-35 shots on goal. No exaggeration!

Keagan must have had eight headers in this game! They tried to play over the top to no avail.

Their goalie and our ball boys were the hardest working players on the field.  However, flat was good enough for the 5-1 win.

We have three defenders out injured, so a freshman played on the back line with Keagan. Of course, Keagan had to coach him.

I can’t wait to see what these boys accomplish this season!

This Month in Home Renovation

Because I’m crazy.
Because I don’t already have enough to manage.
Because I have a touch of OCD.
Because I love home renovations.

Because I love them!

Soccer Weekend Again

Friday night the high school team took to the road for an out of district game. Look at that field! The pitch was beautiful!

It was a rough game, and with three yellows, two reds, and a whole lot of confusion, the game was called 15 min early. We left victorious and racing against time to beat the bad weather back home. We made it back just in time!

Saturday we attended the NSC game. It’s these family events that make me really miss my big little, but we should all four be together at the next home game.

I’m hitting a wall - pure exhaustion - but I have homework to do, a dinner to make, and booster club duties tomorrow. I wouldn’t trade sleep for time with my little little for anything!
