Tomorrow it is take 3 (I can’t believe we aren’t going back to school tomorrow) before round two begins on Thursday. Much like today, the boys and I will be doing homework and joining Zoom meetings. The anticipation of getting to sleep past 0430 is the absolute best feeling!
Five years later we have grown to love Tennessee as much as our home state of Texas. Our adventures as a military family continue in the land made famous for country music and hot chicken. As much as our lives have changed with our twenty plus years in the military, much remains the same. We spend our weekends playing soccer, our winters on the beach, and our holidays with family.

Sn❄️w Fun Take 2
Today’s snow day looked a little different. Evan had lectures to watch for his winter term; Keagan’s school day was virtual; my online spring math class began today. There was no fun in the snow, but we slept in, ate chicken tostadas, and had cinnamon rolls for dessert. I’m killing it in the kitchen, and my slow cookers are working overtime keeping us all fed. In between kitchen stops, we hunkered down and did this:
