Check in Move in

Keagan moved in to his campus apartment on Sunday. Today he officially checked back into school. Next week he begins classes. I pray we don’t have an ER visit this semester because we are currently 2/2. I pray the collagen he’s taking works miracles for those knees. I pray the kid who hates school finds some joy in the classes he’s taking this semester. I pray we win games because this new conference is going to be tough.

Atta Boy

I’m so proud of this kid! He was nominated by his freshman capstone professor. 

What a blessing this school has been for Keagan! He has found the perfect fit. 

He Got an ⚽️ffer!

Keagan got an offer today to play soccer at a school in Arkansas! 

One of his former travel coaches is now at this college, and he texted Keagan last night with the offer. Keagan and his teammates have jokingly said that they would follow this guy anywhere (anywhere warm if you ask Keagan ) if it meant that they could play together and play for him. 

What a relief! This is such great news for Keagan!

College Visit

It was a late night last night for Keagan. I heard him come home at 6:15 this morning, and then we were out the door at 0830 for a school visit and a soccer game. We drove four hours into Alabama to a new school on our short, getting longer, list. 

We had Whataburger for a late lunch, and then we watched the first half of the Tennessee game at the hotel before we headed to the fields for our first Regional Premier League game. And it was a good one. Three yellows and one red card later, we came away with the 3-2 win.
