Summer Fun

I love Nashville for all of the opportunities to listen to live music. In fact, I attend concerts multiple times a month. Sometimes with family, sometimes with friends, sometimes by myself. A friend of mine at the gym usually asks on Thursday mornings,  “Who are going to see this weekend?” She knows me well.

CMA fest was a great start to summer. Some of my favorites performed; many of them I’ve already heard live but I wanted to see them again. I was lucky to find a friend willing to ditch summer professional development to catch a few free performances riverside.

Sometimes you can get lucky and get a front row seat.

Later in the month, to celebrate Vikki’s 50th birthday, we attended a concert at an outdoor venue in Franklin. 

We get to do it again in a couple of weeks!
